Downtown Renewal

This project consisted of the historic rehab of Concord’s first downtown luxury loft apartment building.

Located in the Danville, VA Tobacco Warehouse District, the Pemberton Lofts – Phase II project included the adaptive re-use of a historic tobacco building into 50 market rate apartments.

Originally built in 1854 for the Hackney Wagon Company, Nash Street Lofts offers residents a unique living experience in the heart of downtown Wilson, N.C.

The Wilson Furniture Company Lofts’ building had been vacant for decades and deteriorating before redevelopment efforts started.

Located in the Danville, VA Tobacco Warehouse District, the Pemberton Lofts – Phase I project included the adaptive re-use of a historic tobacco prizery into 62 market rate apartments, two commercial spaces, a gym and a community room.

A historic and deteriorating building of teacher housing in downtown Gastonia has been converted into 18 apartments. Historic credits and NSP funding helped to make this project possible.

This historic building was a centerpiece for Main St. and has been vacant for over 20 years. The building was converted into 13 luxury apartments with a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom flats and 5 townhouses.

2 large historic buildings in Downtown Asheboro, NC; utilizing historic and LITHC credits.

4 downtown historic buildings had their upstairs converted into 12 market rate units and got new exterior historic restorations.
